Ciara is a student who comes in to visit us every Wednesday. Last Wednesday she brought her guitar and played some music for us. We sang along to “Old McDonald” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It”.

Spring nature walk with first class

First class have been learning about the signs of Spring in SESE. They took a wander in the convent garden recently. Armed with clipboards, pencils and paper, they investigated the garden and drew pictures of the signs of Spring. Have a look at some of the beautiful pictures they drew. .

Ms.O’Callaghan’s first class have started Irish dancing classes. They are really looking forward to their next class. .

The Restaurant

The boys and girls in Early Start were learning about food, so we set up a restaurant in our classroom. We had waiters and waitresses, customers and cashiers. Have a look at our pictures to see some of the fun we had!

Welcome, Spring!

We went for a walk in the garden to observe the first signs of Spring. We saw daffodils and primroses, and we could hear birds singing in their nests. We used our binoculars to look up to the sky and find the birds.

We celebrated the Chinese New Year in our class. We had fun with fortune cookies, and we ate sweets using chopsticks!
