CAPER & Maths For Fun Celebration

We have really enjoyed having our parents come in for the past six weeks to help us run our CAPER and Maths for Fun. The children and teachers loved having their support. We were delighted Minister Kathleen Lynch was able to attend to speak to us and to present our parents with their certificates. .

Bowling

 The girls in 4th, 5th and 6th class went bowling in the Leisure Plex. They had great fun and it wasn’t long before they were cheering each other for getting spares and strikes.

Halloween fun in 4th class

4th class had great fun dressing up for Halloween. They went out to the school yard and had a disco. A few girls got stuck in the giant cobwebs in the classroom, while others found a new headless friend. They also did really spooky Halloween art. .

2nd class had great fun dressing up for Halloween. Some people dressed up as witches, while other people dressed as princess. We had a disco in the school yard again which was great fun.

Visit of the Brendan Martin Cup

Ms. Cleary was part of the winning Cork team, who won the All lreland Ladies Gaelic Football final. She brought the Brendan Martin Cup in to show the classes. .

The school Gaelic football team played superbly this year reaching the semi finals in the Sciath Na Scol competition. .

4th class are settling into their new class with their teacher Ms. Cleary. They are enjoying the sun while it still shines. .
