5-a-side soccer
Girls from 5th and 6th classes recently participated in an FAI five a side tournament. The girls performed brilliantly in a very tight group where they won two of their matches. They really enjoyed themselves and hopefully some of them are soccer stars in the making.
4th class knitters
In January 4th class began to learn how to knit. Since then they have really taken to it and completing some amazing knits. They have made mini monsters, owls, cats and bats so far. We can’t wait to see what they will make next.
Launch: The Yard At The End Of The Rainbow
The North Presentation Primary School community launched their fundraising drive to raise €35,000, to provide the children with the yard of their dreams. Cork Pops Orchestra
4th and 5th classes enjoyed a trip to the City Hall, to see the Cork Pops Orchestra. Professor Fluffy Bookmark Awards
One of our 5th Class girls won an Art Competition. She designed a bookmark for U.C.C.’s Professor Fluffy and UCC+ programmes. Her class attended the awards ceremony in U.C.C. Pancakes in First Class
We were lucky in First Class this Pancake Tuesday. We got to have pancakes in the staff room. We picked our favourite toppings.They were delicious!
Crepes with Justine
One of our Junior Infant mums came in to our Parents’ Room on Shrove Tuesday to make pancakes/crepes with the children. All the children took turns making and mixing the batter. Each child then made their own pancake which they enjoyed with sugar, jam or chocolate spread.
