Third class put on a great show for their parents this week. They performed ‘Cinderella’ and really got into character. They showed off their amazing acting and singing talent by singing songs such as ‘a million dreams’. Well done girls!
Senior Infants did a lovely job of painting pebbles from the beach. They painted them as minions, ladybirds and monsters. They loved this very simple lesson.
Senior Infants enjoyed a lovely picnic with their teddy bears in our garden yesterday. They got great weather for it!
Summer is definitely here! Our garden is blooming thanks to Ms.Coleman and Ms.Conway and all the children who have helped them with planting, weeding and decorating the garden. Not only is the garden a lovely place to be, we grow our own herbs, some fruit and vegetables.
All the children who had full attendance for the year got a lovely treat last week as they went for a picnic in Fitzgerald’s Park.
First classes put on their play “The Fisherman’s wife” for their parents earlier this week. They put on a great performance with lovely singing. After the play the boys were presented with certificates as they move onto their new schools in September
A big thank you to the children who made up the Health Promoting School Committee this year. They did an excellent job reminding their classes about Mindfulness Monday, Wake up and Shake up and Music in the Yard.
Here are some photos of the Junior Infants taking part in Aistear. The theme this week was at the Hairdresser. The children really enjoyed role playing at the hairdresser, building a hair saloon and making iconic fashionable new hair style trends in art.
