Santa Claus in Early Start

Santa and Mrs. Claus met all the children in Early Start today. The children sang them some wonderful songs before going up and having a chat with Santa. Santa was so thoughtful and brought a special gift for each girl and boy.

Mr. O Connor’s Whoops a Daisy Angel

Mr O Connor’s Junior Infant class put on their play “Whoops a Daisy Angel” yesterday. They were fantastic up on the stage, remembering  their lines and singing all the songs. Here are some photographs from the performance for their families.

The Senior Infant classes put on an amazing show yesterday for their parents. The show was called ‘Father Christmas and Uncle Holly’. They were great singers and dancers. Well done to everyone!

Maths for fun

The girls in 2nd class had their last Maths for Fun session with their parents today. The children had great fun playing the games while practising their maths skills at the same time. They were very grateful to the parents that came in to help them play the games.

Aistear- Shopping

Recently the senior infants were learning about shopping during aistear. This week they went shopping in Shandon street. They visited Buckley’s clothes shop, Bridies sweet and toy shop and Centra. chess club

Friday chess club has started for some of the girls in 3rd and 6th class. We will be learning about all the pieces over the coming weeks and hope to be saying ‘checkmate’ before the Christmas break!
