Science Fun in 3rd class

The 3rd class girls had great fun carrying out some science experiments on forces, electricity and sound this week!


3rd class History Trail

3rd class went on a local history trail around Shandon this week. They were orienteering with a map template and created their own detailed map of the area. They finished off the day with a tour of the legendary Linehans Sweet Shop. They had a great day!


High Tea at the Maldron Shandon Hotel

Crawford Art Gallery

The 1st class children went on a visit to the Crawford Art Gallery this week. Sports Day 2019

The children had a great day on Tuesday June 18th when we had our school Sports Day. It was great fun and the sun was shining on us all day!


Professor Fluffy 2019

Our 5th and 6th Class girls participated in the Professor Fluffy Programme. They have spent the year learning all about third level education and thinking about their futures. The girls and twelve of their parents had a tour of U.C.C. and ended the day with a graduation ceremony.


City Sports

The City Sports were held recently in C.I.T. The boys and girls who represented the school did a fantastic job. We are so proud of them. Well done to the staff involved who trained them and also thanks to their parents for taking the time to bring them to the sports.


Communion 2019

The girls from North Pres made their First Holy Communion in the North Cathedral on 25th May. They were joined by┬áthe boys from 2nd class from Blarney Street school.
