Trip to the Park
As part of wellbeing week the 2nd, 4th and 5th classes took a stroll down to St. Anne’s park. The 2nd classes loved playing with the older girls.

Fitness Class
Junior Infants up to 2nd class were lucky this week to have a visit from trainers Ian and Cian. The trainers put the children through their paces with some warm ups before testing their fitness with games and relays. All the children really enjoyed it.

Intercultural Day
We held our Intercultural Day in the school yard today. It was a fantastic day where all the children dressed up in their traditional clothes. Sari demonstration
1st class were very lucky today when a parent came in to show them how to wear a sari. The children loved seeing how it was put on and then the class tried putting it on one another. They were very good at it.

Art in 2nd class
2nd class were very lucky to have Siberian artist and illustrator Meri Grubic come show them some of her work today. She also demonstrated some of the techniques that she uses. Henna and Hair Braiding
We had some very talented parents and family members give their time today. As part of Intercultural week they painted henna on some of the pupils. While other pupils got their hair braided. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and came into the school.

2nd Class School Tour
The two 2nd classes went on their school tour to the Mardyke Arena. We had a lovely walk down along the banks of the river lee before having a very active day.
