The girls from 5th class entered a soccer blitz recently. The school had 2 teams. It was held in Mayfield FC. Each team played 3 games. They played Bweeng, Rathpeacan, St. Patricks, St. Mary’s on the hill and Gaelcoil Mhuscraí. The girls made some outstanding saves and scored world class goals. They were a credit to their teachers and played in a very positive spirit.
