March Maths Fun!
There have been lots of wonderful Maths activities going on in the school this March. We were very lucky to have had a Maths Works Mobile Workshop at the beginning of the month for the 4th, 5th and 6th class children. The children engaged in lots of hands on Maths based activities which were challenging, but fun.
This month we also had Bee Bots in our school for pupils in all class levels to enjoy. Bee Bots are small programmable robots which the children can learn to code and command. To finish the month, we also borrowed Izak 9 Kits, which are large floor puzzles based on different Maths areas such as number, shape and fractions. It has been wonderful to see the children have so much fun developing their Maths and STEM skills this month!
