Mercy Coffee Morning
On Friday 19th October our Parents’ Association organised a coffee morning in aid of the Mercy Hospital’s POONs Service (Paediatric Oncology Outreach Nursing Service). Thanks to the support of our families, friends and school staff €500 was raised for this worthy cause. Thank you to our Parents’ Association and all the parents who volunteered to help out on the day. Thank you too to all the people that supported this event by attending the coffee morning or donating cakes. The NCE Bakery in Farranferris donations included a cake that was raffled and Healy’s Bakery donated a delicious and beautifully presented cake. Well done to everyone for supporting such a worthy cause.
Our pupils helped decorate our Parents’ Room for this special event by designing posters as part of the Shandon Street Credit Union Art Competition. One artist from each class won a voucher.
