Over the last few weeks, some of our boys and girls have been working very hard on an amazing music project. As part of the STAR programme, a group of our Romanian children formed the Romani Crew to share their experiences of life in Cork. At music workshops facilitated by Garry McCarthy (GMCBeats) & Frank “Einstein” McCarthy at The Kabin Studio, they created this brilliant rap. On June 23rd, the children gave a live performance of the song for family and friends. They were honoured to have the Cork City Lord Mayor, Colm Kelleher present and loved talking to him about their project.
