There were lots of fun events in the school this week to celebrate World Book Day 2022. The children in Senior Infants made their own books, including text and illustrations! The 2nd and 6th class children went on a trip to Waterstones to spend their World Book Day vouchers. To finish the week off on a high, we had a dress up day on Friday, where children could dress as their favourite fictional character. It was a fantastic finish to the week and we were amazed by all of the wonderful costumes! Well done to all of the parents and guardians who helped out with the costumes. Well done to the all of the teachers who dressed up too! We are looking forward to next year’s event already!!
