Seisiún Mór

North Pres. celebrated its Irish culture today with a Seisiún Mór. Our Student Council opened the event that starred the children from 1st to 6th class. We were treated to a mixture of songs and tunes sung in Irish and English and performed by tin whistles, accordions, guitars, concertinas, violins, low whistles, flutes and a cojan. The audience of families and friends were captivated by the children’s performances. The children demonstrated the Siege of Ennis and then many parents joined in the dancing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable event.
